Q-Do you think this topic health care of mother is important to consider?
A-During pregnancy health care of mother is very important to consider because fetus depends on mother for nutrition.

Q-In this regard does nutrition play an important role?
A-Nutrition plays an important role. Healthy diet minerals and vitamins play a crucial role. Anemia in mother can lead to low birth weight babies. Folic acid plays an important role during early development of fetus.

Q-Are there any particular exercises which can be practiced?
A-Breathing exercises, yoga, walking should be preferred. Consult your doctor for personalized exercises.

Q-What are the environment factors that can be taken into consideration?
A-Environmental factors can significantly affect the development of child. Any form of stress felt by mother can have negative effect on fetal development

Q-Does it required to have changes in mother's lifestyle? If yes, what kind of lifestyle changes can be considered healthier?
A-Continue to eat healthy and balanced diet, exercise regularly, takes vitamins supplements, regular checkups, stops smoking and alcohol.


Q-Sometime the mother they undergo a lot of undewstress. Is it harmful in the present context?
A-Continuous stress may have negative effect on baby. You can always turn to your family members for reassurance. Share your feeling with loved ones. Eat well, rest, take vitamins to fight stress. Drink 8-10 glasses of water every day.

Q-How inevitable is to maintain personal hygiene for expecting mother?
A-Improper hygiene can lead to infections which may be acquired by baby. Proper dental care should be taken. Dental hygiene should be maintained. Care of breast. Regular bathing. Comfortable clothing.

Q-How regular visit to doctor plays an important role?

A-Regular visit to doctor play an important role to avoid pregnancy related complication, checkups        should be done at the intervals of 4 weeks till 28th week. Afterward at the interval of 2 weeks till   36th week.

Healthy eating habits during prenatal stages.

Healthy eating habits during prenatal stages

Taking daily nutrition is an essential part during pregnancy. Good nutrition is the key to healthy mother and baby. Including good amount of nutrition’s in diet helps in the development of the baby's body tissue and organs. The basic principles for a healthy diet are :
-Include a variety of nutrient-rich foods.
-Take a balanced diet.
 -Eat moderate amounts.
-Take pleasure in eating.
          Balanced meals include Protein foods which are rich in vitamins and minerals such as vitamin B, iron and zinc. Grains are rich in provide carbohydrates which results in gaining energy, vitamins, and minerals such as zinc and magnesium for the expecting mother. Whole grain products also contain fiber which helps the baby to grow healthier. Milk products like buttermilk cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt etc. are helpful for baby's bones and to develop properly as the products are rich in calcium and vitamin C promotes healing and iron absorption. These foods also contain fiber to prevent constipation. Like orange juice, kiwi fruit, mango, strawberries and more. Eat variety of healthy food. Start including fruits, green vegetables, and calcium rich foods in your diet. A balanced diet provides your baby the nutrients which it needs to grow. Don’t rely on just your prenatal vitamin to cover your nutritional needs; you need to combine your prenatal vitamin and a good diet to carry you through your pregnancy. Giving yourself proper nutrition will prevent you from getting anemia, which is linked to preterm birth and low birth weight. It is important for an expecting mother to stay hydrated throughout the day. Dehydration is the leading cause of pre-term contraction. Taking at least 3 liters of water in a day keeps pre-term contraction away. Water acts as the body’s transportation system. It transports vitamins, nutrition and a whole bunch of other great things to your baby during pregnancy. Drink lots of water, eat water based fruits and vegetables like watermelon, cucumbers. Avoid smoking, intake of alcohol or use of drugs during pregnancy. This is not considered as a healthy lifestyle during pregnancy. How much you eat is as important as what you eat. If you’re starting your pregnancy at a healthy weight, you don’t need any extra calories in the first trimester

Thus, results in decreases the swelling in the joints. Prenatal massage acts as a wonderful tactic to help with many of the discomforts during pregnancy. However, before seeing a prenatal massage therapist one should consult the doctor.
Listening to soft and relaxing music also helps in bursting stress during prenatal stages. Studies says that having high levels of stress may leads to increased risk of premature delivery of the unborn baby, low birth weights, and increased risk of behavioral problems in children.  Many researchers had also quoted that babies remember the music they hear in the womb. Familiar music catches baby’s attentions which make them comfortable and relaxed. There are many more healthy benefits for both mom and baby connected with listening to prenatal music like early bonding and stress reduction to the encouragement of early brain development and improvement of a baby’s sleeping habits.
According to experts, It is important to keep moving. Pregnant mothers who exercise daily are tend to get less back pains, more energy and a better body image. Daily exercises help the mother to keep the excess body weight gain in check, and helps in bursting stress more easily.
